What is the right ratio for table top to chair seat?
I just moved into my own place. (just starting, so I have no furniture. and in a different state, so I don't know of anyone that I could measure there tabletop to seat distance)
The old owners left behind 3 very cool chairs. There high cafe bristo style maybe. . . 26 1/2 inches from floor to the seat. I would like to get a high table, maybe a bistro table to use these high seats.
What is the ratio between table top to chair seat?

Bar height is usually typical, but just measure the distance between the seat and table of a set that goes together in a store, and do the math for the difference.
I must say though, that I am a short person who always wishes tables where 2-3" shorter that they all are, so I saw the legs off everything!
